Center Anatidae and Storks - Racconigi
I finally got a little 'time to stretch out and the shutter ...
With my photography club, CAFE, was a little 'time that we wanted to organize a trip to the Center of Lipu Racconigi.
The opportunity presented itself two Sundays ago, and was very nice output: we spent the whole morning to shoot ducks, storks and other birds that live in the center, and in the afternoon we went to Castle Park Racconigi , hoping to photograph a few flowers. For
this output I decided to use the D70 with the 70-300 G, because my 55-200VR would be too short, and the D40 has no internal motor for autofocus.
This output has been very useful to train a bit 'with wildlife photography, which I had never done before.
then I could try a couple of important goals, such as the 80-400 VR and 70-300 VR. With the complicity of some friends we made then mounted a crock: D70, Nikkor 80-400 VR and a 2x focal length doubler, thereby, to the maximum focal zoom, a 1200 mm F11, good for portraits from afar, even if free-hand, and manual focus, it needs a steady hand and a nice, big viewfinder and light (the teleconverter has no autofocus, nor the transmission of exposure, and adjust the exposure to "nose" and the focus manually. Obviously a deal like that free hand is rather difficult to use, and not taking the stand I had to kneel down for more stability. Despite this, the minimum time to get a picture does not move is 1 / 1250 second, that does not go very well with the aperture F11, then there must be a very high sensitivity, minimum ISO800).
In the afternoon, as I said, we went to Castle Park, where we hoped to shoot some flowers ... but ... nothing! We could not find even a grain, only grass, trees bright plastic and stones at the edges of the trenches!
It 's time to let the images speak:
