News: macro tubes! I finally got the macro tubes I ordered some 'time ago ...
I took them on Ebay from a seller in Hong Kong, and I must say that I paid for them I was expecting something much worse.
it only cost me $ 0.01 plus $ 7.99 shipping (!).
At that price I thought that I arrived tubes made of cardboard and / or not compatible with my car, but I must say that even well done.
Obviously they are not perfect, but they are entirely of metal and are of good quality. For

The kit consists of two connection flanges (screwed together to form the smaller tube, 12 mm) from a 7mm socket, a 13mm and 28mm longer.
fitting all the pipes together (they are all threaded on both sides) can slightly exceed the reproduction ratio of 1:1.
mounting of all except the pipe from 13mm to 49mm I get an extension, which added to the draft of the camera (the distance between the film plane / sensor plane and the engagement of optics: Nikon is 46.5mm) allows me to reach the 1: 1 (actually a ratio of 1:1.04, but nothing changes ...).
adding the 13mm tube arrival at 1.08:1, just above the LifeSize (ratio 1:1).
all using a 50 1.8 that allows adjustment of the diaphragm through the ring.
Among other objectives, which have no aperture ring, it becomes very difficult to use the extension tubes, because the diaphragm can not completely closed to aim and focus with precision. In any case, by tests made with the 18-55, which is below 35mm, fitted with all the tubes, the subject should be inside the goal, to be in focus.
The main problem of using extension tubes is extremely limited depth of field and the loss of light, which requires to use a sturdy tripod.
Free hand, in fact, moving to 1mm you completely lose focus on the subject (indeed, a portion of it!) And move the subject out of the larger viewfinder.
Speaking of which I have not noticed differences or loss of sharpness, compared to 50 normally mounted. This is the fact that there are no lenses in the tubes that can degrade the quality (how could they do such as close-up lens) and the group of lenses that form the target is fixed and everything moves forward and backward ( also changing the total length of the tubes, and then the reproduction ratio) and shows the deterioration in quality of zoom lenses with very close subjects.
